Check out these delightful old school sweatshirts; athletic heritage with just the right amount of sparkle. I loved the green so damn hard after the first few weeks, I just ordered the red. The green has a really lovely ombre dye to it and it is the softest, worn sweatshirt material you'd ever hope to find. I've been buying lots of vintage style sweatshirts lately with a raglan style sleeve such as these. Chiffon Maxi Skirts

Obsessed for spring! You can wear them with a million different things but my favorite looks are with a metal belt or an old sweatshirt. Both give a very romantic, frilly garment a little edge and grit. And the longer the better - while pooling on the ground isn't exactly convenient, it is opulent. And hacked at the ankle isn't doing any of you any favors, silhouette-wise. This floor length line is grounding and dramatic. Be sure to look for a lining that is of an appropriate length that you'll be happy with. I prefer mine the full length of the skirt, though the cropped yellow lining is very summery. I picked up a great dusty pink pleated number on ebay for under $20! And a great bag! God, you've gotta have a great bag to go with!

Frozen Niagara Falls

The pics of frozen Venice reminded me of old old old pics that my Great Aunt had taken of a frozen solid Niagara Falls in 1932. I don't have copies in my possession but a quick internet search turned up these. If I get my hands on them soon, I will post them because they are some of the most stunning pics I've ever seen. Temps plummeted to near -40.

Chambray Shirts

I'm slowly coming around to the chambray trend (I know, it only took 3 years) and I'm on the hunt for the perfect weight and color. And, of course, what to pair it with. I've come to the conclusion that you have 3 options: black, white or pop of color. I'm super partial to faux leather leggings and some fur.

And then, as it just so happened, my best male friend asked me what to wear his with. Clearly I'm not the only one having trouble cracking the code! My male suggestions are: shorts, dark dark fitted jeans, Nantucket reds-style, and under sweaters or suit jackets. And of course with black and white.
