Dr Marten Boots
I never thought the day would come, but I am lovin' doc marten's line of boots these days! Sleek yet rugged. This is the Triumph, available here for $160. Wear 'em up or folded over and for a fun twist, try aqua or other bright shoelaces.

Fall Trend: black and brown
See? You can wear black and brown together and not look dark and depressed (though fluffy blonde hair definitely helps). This a huge fashion trend for fall. The key is fitted pieces, trendy accessories (a great bag, big aviators, scarves) and lots of layering. Equally important is mixing the colors evenly. You can't wear an entirely black outfit with brown shoes, but if you wear 2 black pieces and 2 brown pieces, or a black outfit with loads of brown accessories, you'll pull it off easily.

Studded Boots
Studded boots...rough and tough and totally bad ass. So here's the thing with these boots: they look really cool but you have to have the right balance in your wardrobe to effectively pull them off without looking like you're headed to a brawl at a biker bar (unless you're into that sort of thing, and then who am I to judge). It boils down to this - these are masculine boots. If you have a very light, dainty, willowy figure, wear them with whatever the hell you want...they'll look great. For those of us that aren't models, the key is to balance them with pieces that are not masculine. Flash some leg, pair with a short skirt, form fitting skinny jeans, utilize floral prints, incorporate gauzy fabrics. Casual & Fabulous!
