Style Tip of the Day: I cannot stress enough the importance of checking the soles of your shoes for giant price stickers. This is one of those things that people just don't ever seem to address and the thing is, just because you can't see it, the rest of us still can. It's always a problem on stage and it's a problem for Lauren Conrad, who is looking great otherwise! No one wants to look like they stepped in something.

Fall Trend: black and brown

See?  You can wear black and brown together and not look dark and depressed (though fluffy blonde hair definitely helps).  This a huge fashion trend for fall.  The key is fitted pieces, trendy accessories (a great bag, big aviators, scarves) and lots of layering. Equally important is mixing the colors evenly. You can't wear an entirely black outfit with brown shoes, but if you wear 2 black pieces and 2 brown pieces, or a black outfit with loads of brown accessories, you'll pull it off easily.
