Abercrombie + Fitch vs Jersey Shore

Oh Jersey Shore cast, at what point do you finally begin to understand what a scurge you have become to society?  How bad of a reputation do you have to have before the clothing company that once designed an entire collection around you is now willing to pay you substantial sums of money not to be seen in their clothing?  That's exactly what Columbus-based Abercrombie + Fitch is hoping to accomplish.  They're begging Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to stop wearing their brand on The Jersey Shore.  While no exact sum is readily available, sources say that the offer also extends to other members of the cast as well.  Guess fist fights, public intoxication and the Guido Way didn’t exactly fit into the company’s  “Ivy League heritage” and “essence of privilege and casual luxury.”  One would hope maybe this would be a wakeup call, but somehow you get the feeling bigger endorsements will result (maybe Ed Hardy will double down).  And as for Abercrombie + Fitch, you have bigger problems, i.e. padded swimsuits for toddlers and years of scandalous advertising campaigns.
