I've never been a fan of the military/band leader jackets that have been so trendy over the last several years, but I love this skirt. It has just the right amount of masculine military inspiration while still being very feminine and fun. And most importantly, free of that costume-y, pin-up look that you can't possibly wear in public (though, admittedly, the one pictured has been tailored within an inch of it's life and could use a
little breathing room).
