Margiela Flops at H+M
Hey, I was as excited as the next person, but it seems we all took one look at Maison Martin Margiela's line for H+M and passed. Which is sad because Versace for H+M sold out in, like, 5 minutes. Some are blaming higher than average prices at the discount retailer. I blame the ridiculous fashion. Ain't nobody want to pay hundreds of dollars to look like David Byrne in his Stop Making Sense days. Everything was XXL high fashion baggy pants, oversized jackets...scary non-street fashion. *sigh* Better luck next time MMM.

Ladies and gentlemen, Emerald is the new black.
Or so says Pantone, which declared Emerald 17-5641 as the "It" color for the coming year. Stock up on it, in fabric form if not in gems. And BTW, recall who recommended the color to you way back in April.
